It looks like the ABC/Univision partnership is proving fruitful for some of the Spanish-language network’s talent.
Pamela Silva Conde, “Primer Impacto” anchor and the wife of Univision Networks President César Conde, was guest host today on ABC’s morning weekday talkshow “The View.”
Introduced in the opening as a “Univision superstar,” Pamela will also guest-host tomorrow.
“The View” is currently in its 16th season. Since its launch in 1997, the show has failed to include a Latina co-host, with the exception of a few guest-host spots.
Former Univision “Primer Impacto” anchor Myrka Dellanos did a 2-show stint back in 2006.
Azteca América morning show anchor Naibe Reynoso was also invited to guest host 2 days in 2003.
Anchors María Elena Salinas and Jorge Ramos have also appeared on ABC News during the presidential elections last year.
