Starting this Friday, Excelsior, the Spanish-language weekly published by The Orange County Register, launches Expresso, a bilingual entertainment tabloid. Content will focus on “chisme” television and entertainment. It will also feature elements familiar to Latinos, such as an astrology column by Walter Mercado and the comic strip Condorito.
Expresso aims to target young, second-generation Hispanics whose primary language is English but are immersed in Latino culture.
