Velásquez to lead new Latino Web site

Shirley Velásquez has been named editor-in-chief of My Latino Voice, a Latino news and culture Web site, previously known as miapogeo.com.

For the past 6 years, Shirley has been a senior reporter for Glamour magazine. She previously worked for CNN, Publisher’s Weekly, Latina and InStyle magazines.
