América TeVé, known as WJAN-41 in Miami, today announced a joint venture with CV Network (CaribeVisión). Under the terms of the agreement, América TeVé will take over the operations of CV stations WFUN-48 in Miami, WPXO-34 in New York and WJPX-24 in Puerto Rico.América TeVé was founded in 1999. The station itself started broadcasting in Spanish in 1995. CaribeVisión was launched in 2007.
