KDBC-4, the CBS affiliate in El Paso has laid off about half of its staff, as part of a new joint sales agreement with KTSM-9, the NBC affiliate.
A personnel supervisor told the AP that two thirds of the layoffs were editorial staff. The two stations announced the agreement in October.
