Air America Media, which launched in 2004, went off the air permanently yesterday and will cease all operations as of this Monday. It is set to file for Chapter 7 and liquidate. The company, which had 100 radio affiliates, has had a rocky history. It previously filed for Chapter 11 in 2006.
