Rotella hired at ProPublica

Sebastian Rotella leaves the Los Angeles Times after 23 years, to join ProPublica as a senior reporter.

An award-winning foreign correspondent and investigative reporter, Sebastian has been bureau chief for the LAT in Paris and Buenos Aires.

Before joining the Times, he worked for UPI and the Chicago Sun-Times.

He is the author of the book “Twilight on the Line: Underworlds and Politics at the U.S. – Mexico Border.”
