Liberman Broadcasting (LBI) announced today the purchase W40BY Chicago from Trinity Broadcasting. It plans to launch Estrella TV on the low-powered station in the second quarter of 2010. With this acquisition, Liberman would have 9 owned and operated stations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Earlier this month, Liberman bought Denver’s KWHD-TV from La Sea Broadcasting.
