KNBC axes newscast; Baldonado loses anchor job

KNBC has canceled its weekday 11 am newscast. “Midday Report” was anchored by Kim Baldonado, who was promoted to that position in July of 2009.

Prior to “Midday Report,” Kim was anchoring weekends. She will continue with KNBC as general assignment reporter.
