Mega TV exec jumps ship to América CV

América CV Network President & CEO Omar Romay has named Maggie Salas Amaro as Director of Network Strategies. She will oversee the expansion and market strategies for the network’s stations in Miami, New York and Puerto Rico.

Until this appointment, Maggie was Director of Affiliate Relations and Development at SBS-owned Mega TV. She was previously Director of Programming and Network Strategy for Telemundo. She has also held management positions at Walt Disney International and MTV Networks International in programming and acquisitions.

América TeVe and CV Network merged in November of 2009.
