Diaz promoted at Belo

Belo Corp. announced today that Peter Diaz has been promoted to President, Media Operations. Since Nov. 2007 he has been EVP, television operations. Peter joined the company’s management committee in Feb. 2008.

Peter, who has held several management positions at Belo since he started with the company in 1984, is on the executive committee for the board of the CBS Television Network Affiliates Association. He is also on the board of the newly-formed of Pearl Mobile TV, LLC – the broadcast mobile initiative announced on April 13.
