Former New York Post editor Sandra Guzmán has been busy since she was ousted from the paper last year. I ran into her in Spain where she is currently attending a U.S. Hispanic leaders conference. She tells me she’s thrilled that Seal Press has bought the rights to her self-help book “Latina’s Bible,” previously published in 2002. She is writing two new chapters for the updated edition of the book, which she hopes will be released next year. She’s also working on a second book project titled “Wise Latinas.” In addition to doing media consulting work, Sandra has been doing speaking engagements at unversities around the country, with her next stop being Cal State Northridge on April 30.
With regards to the lawsuit she filed against the company last year, she told me she’s not at liberty to talk about it, but she said she’s “waiting for a decision.” She added that 3 other co-workers have filed discrimination lawsuits since she filed hers.
