Christian Riehl and Alonso Galvez have been promoted to Vice Presidents of Production. Christian who will be at the helm of Telemundo’s broadcast of Billboard Latin Music Awards on April 29, will continue to oversee the network’s morning show “Levántate,” “Caso Cerrado,” and a new project entitled “Persiguiendo Injusticias.” Alonso will oversee “12 Corazones,” “Nítido,” “Descontrol” and alternative programs.
Christian has most recently been working for Telemundo since 2001, currently as Director of Production. He previously worked at the Travel Channel Latin America and Telenoticias. Before that, he worked at Telemundo as a producer for “Primera Hora.” Alonso joined Telemundo in 2007, overseeing the development, production and launch of multiple shows and specials. He previously spent 15 years as a media executive as Univision.
