Estrella TV enters Tulsa

Liberman Broadcasting (LBI Media) just signed its latest affiliate deal for Estrella TV, bringing the network to Oklahoma. Estrella TV will now be seen in Tulsa on KXAP-51, the only Spanish-language station in town.

Owned by TeleTul, low-power KXAP has been a Spanish-language independent since it launched as the first Hispanic station in Tulsa in July of 2008. Antonio Pérez is the station’s president. According to RBR.com, the affiliate deal gives KXAP’s sales team backing from LBI’s national sales organization as well as a national rep of its own.

Tulsa is the 68th largest U.S. Hispanic TV market.
