Castro leaves GMA

Yesterday was Marysol Castro’s last day as weather anchor on Good Morning America’s weekend edition. Her co-workers sent her off with a video montage of some of her more memorable contributions to the show.

Marysol was on GMA for the past 6 years. She’s leaving the show to spend more time with her family. In her last show yesterday, she says she’s happy not to have to get up at 3 am any more and looking forward to spending time with her children.

Before her GMA gig, Marysol was a general assignment reporter at WPIX-11 in NYC. She previously worked as an anchor and correspondent for News 12 The Bronx.
