Vargas joins KCBS

Sibila Vargas returns to L.A. as morning anchor at KCBS-2. She’ll be anchoring the 4:30 to 7 am and 11 am weekday newscasts. Her first day on the job is Oct. 11.

Sibila was most recently weekday morning anchor for KRIV-26, the Fox O&O in Houston, where she worked since 2007. Before that, she was an L.A.-based anchor and reporter for CNN.
