With the Comcast/NBCU merger nearing its end, many wonder what will be Telemundo’s fate.
I reported last week that Lauren Zalaznick, Pres. of NBCU Women & Lifestyle Entertainment Networks, which includes Bravo and Oxygen, will also be in charge of overseeing Telemundo Network operations after the merger.
Today the L.A. Times published an article about her added duties, speculating on whether she’ll keep telenovelas in Telemundo’s programming grid, or if Comcast’s plans include turning the network into “the Bravo of Spanish-language television.”
