Silberwasser named EVP of new Discovery unit

Discovery Networks International (DNI) has named Luis Silberwasser Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer of its newly created International Production and Development Unit. The new unit will focus on developing global content for Discovery’s portfolio of networks in more than 180 countries.

Luis was promoted in March of this year to yet another newly created position at the time: International Head of Content for DNI.

He has been with Discovery since 1998.
