Telemundo announced today that it’s moving “Levántate,” the network’s morning show to Miami after 2 years in Puerto Rico. The show will continue to be under the supervision of Executive Producer Tony Mojena.
In a statement, the network stated that the move, scheduled for early 2011, is “a strategic investment” making the show “better position to leverage all of Telemundo’s platforms, including the Telemundo Studios and the Telemundo stations, as well as Telemundo’s digital and network news operations.”
The plan is to give the show a new look and to maximize sponsorship and product integration opportunities.
