Lucía Ballas-Traynor resigns at People en Español

Lucía Ballas-Traynor, the publisher of People en Español since July of 2008, has resigned “to pursue a strategic consultancy in the Hispanic marketplace.”

Portada reports Time, Inc., the magazine’s parent company, sent out an internal memo informing employees of Lucía’s departure at the end of April.

Prior to joining People en Español , she spent 5 years as SVP and GM of MTV’s Tr3s, helping re-brand the network from the previous MTV Español. Before that, she was GM of Galavisión.
