Telemundo today announced it has extended its exclusive U.S. broadcast and online rights to away World Cup qualifying matches of the Mexican National Team through 2013. The network has held these broadcast rights for over 10 years.
Andrés Cantor, who recently renewed his contract with Telemundo, will call the World Cup qualifying games live and on location, along with commentator Jessi Losada and analyst Sammy Sadovnik.
Mexico’s match-ups will be determined during the preliminary draw for qualifying, on July 20, 2011.
