Blanco out of Univision

Luis Blanco, the executive producer for Univision’s “República Deportiva,” is no longer with the company. He had been with Univision for more than 20 years. He had previously been executive producer of “Fuera de Serie.”

According to an insider, the announcement was made yesterday via an internal email, which also stated that Rick Seara would take over the show’s executive producer role.

Univision reps did not comment on this personnel change or other rumored programming changes.
