Cristina makes a comeback

Cristina Saralegui, who last year ended her run at Univision, has signed an exclusive contract with the newly formed National Latino Broadcasting (NLB) to launch the Cristina Channel in the fall. The deal marks her return to the airwaves, and her satellite radio debut.

In April, Sirius XM Radio announced it would lease 4 channels on a long-term basis to NLB as part of its merger conditions of improving diversity of programming. The Cristina Channel, the first of the NLB channels to be announced, will offer 24/7 programming.

Cristina will have a weekly talk show and specials on her channel.

NLB will announce the programming line-up for the Cristina Channel as well as its other 3 channels in the upcoming weeks.
