MEXICANAL has just secured a carriage deal that expands the Spanish-language network into New York. It will now be seen on WDVB 23.2.
WDVB is a low-powered independent station owned by Edison Broadcasting.
The network has been building its coverage through broadcast multicast channel deals.
MEXICANAL’s current digital broadcast distribution also includes Los Angeles (KBEH, channel 63.3), Dallas (KTAQ, 47.3), Phoenix (KTVP, 22.2), San Antonio (WOAI, 4.2), Las Vegas (KTNV, 13.2), Harlingen (KGBT, 4.2), San Diego (K50LL-D, 50.3), Atlanta (WYGA), Austin (KVAT, 17.1), Tucson (KGUN, 9.2), Corpus Christi (KUQI, 38.2), Palm Springs (KMIR, 36.2), Reno (KELM, 43), Oklahoma City (KOHC, 45.3), Columbus (WCSN, 32.1), Boise (KIVI, 6.2), Yakima (KWYT, 39.2), Albany (WYBN, 14.2) and Twin Falls (KTID, 58).
MEXICANAL’s programming includes originals such as MX•24 Noticias, its daily, half-hour newscast featuring top regional, national and international news.
