The 12th annual Latin Grammy Awards show made Univision the #1 network on Thursday night among adults 18-34, according to Nielsen.
11.1 million viewers tuned in to all or part of the three-hour broadcast live on Univision from Las Vegas. The broadcast positioned Univision as the No. 1 broadcast network for the entire night among Adults 18-34 for the second consecutive year.
According to Univision, the Latin Grammy Awards on the Spanish-language network continue to attract more Hispanic viewers in the demographic groups of Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 than the combined audiences of the latest editions of the “Academy Awards,” “Golden Globe Awards,” and “Primetime Emmy Awards.”
On a local level, Univision was the #1 broadcast station in the time period among adults 18-34 in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco, Phoenix and Sacramento.
This is the third consecutive year the Latin music extravaganza takes place in Las Vegas. This year’s Latin Grammys was co-hosted by Cristián de la Fuente and Lucero.
