Latin music star Jenni Rivera has signed a long-term, cross-platform production deal with mun2 that includes the return of her reality series “I Love Jenni.” The agreement secures her as Executive Producer of the series and the development of an untitled new project for her daughter Chiquis. Chiquis starred in the mun2’s top-rated 2010 original series “Jenni Rivera Presents: Chiquis & Raq-C.”
“I Love Jenni” remains one of the network’s most watched shows – it reached an audience of nearly 3.5 million total persons in its entire 2011 run, according to Nielsen. The series also garnered over 660k streams on mun2.tv and was the highest video on demand (VOD) offering by the network, with close to half a million views to date.
“I Love Jenni,” set to start shooting this fall, will be produced in association with Jenni Rivera Enterprises and is also Executive Produced by Pete Salgado. The show will return to mun2 in 2012.
