Peimbert’s last day at KMEX

Today is Raúl Peimbert’s last day as anchor of KMEX-34’s weeknight newscasts – a job he has held for the past 6 years at the Univision O&O in Los Angeles.  Starting in January, he’ll become Sr. West Coast Correspondent for Network and Affiliate News.

Univision announced the job change back in October.

On his Facebook page, Raúl told his fans he was “grateful for the support and affection” they had shown him during the past 6 years.  “Now it’s time to enjoy my family and friends during the holidays, before taking over my new responsibilities in January of 2012.”
