Univision today announced the launch of the Noticias Univision news app for iPhone and iPod touch and is also available on android platforms.
Some of the app features:
* Videos, photos and articles of the latest U.S. and worldwide news
* Local news and weather
* Access to Univision’s popular news programs and award-winning journalists
* Breaking news alerts
Other features that will be available later this month:
* Personalization – Users can receive local/country related news, identifying user location and displaying relevant information.
* Citizen journalist feature via “Tu Camara” to submit stories – users can report breaking news by uploading photos and videos.
* Facebook and Twitter integration allowing users to interact with the shows and comment on topics and stories.
The Noticias Univision App was developed in partnership with Persistent Systems.
