Telemundo’s election coverage fueled the ratings, with “Noticiero Telemundo” posting double-digit gains year-over-year, increasing +22% among total viewers (878,000 vs. 721,000) and +30% among adults 18-49 (402,000 vs. 310,000).

Sports also helped Telemundo score big. Almost 1.7 million total viewers and 966,000 adults 18-49 tuned in to watch Mexican first division soccer team Club León’s quarterfinal match against Cruz Azul on Saturday, November 17. The game ranked as the #1 program on Spanish-language broadcast television that night among men 18-49 (672,000). On Thanksgiving, the Fútbol Liga Mexicana semifinal between León and Tijuana averaged 1.63 million total viewers and more than 1 million adults 18-49.
Telemundo.com also saw growth in November, experiencing double-digit growth for video streams up +32% year over year, with 9.2MM video streams.
