Nelson Montes joins América CV Network as Sr Director of Promotions and Creative Services.
The 17-year industry veteran previously spent 8 years as Promotions Manager for Telemundo Network, where he created promotions campaigns for Premios Tu Mundo, Caso Cerrado, Un Nuevo Día, Premios Billboard among other shows. Before that, he was Promotions Supervisor for Telemundo Puerto Rico and On-Air Promotions Planner and Producer for WAPA TV.
Isidro González has been promoted to Local Sales Manager for TEVEO, the network’s new television station launched on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013.
He was most recently Local Sales Manager for América TeVé Miami, a post he held since March of 2012. He was previously Director of Interactive Media for Spanish Broadcasting Systems and Director of Ad Sales for Sony Pictures Entertainment Television. He has also worked as a Local Sales Manager for Miami’s CBS stations WFOR/WBFS. He started his career as a product integration producer for Univison Neworks’ “Sabado Gigante.”
Account executive Gina García has been promoted to Infomercial Sales Manager. She joined América CV in 2004 as Senior Account Executive and Director of Promotional Sales.
She has previously worked as Director of Sales and Promotions for Radio La Poderosa 670 AM and as an account executive and Promotions Director at Radio Aeropuerto 990 AM in Miami. She started her career in the promotions department of the commercial division of Faucett Peruvian Airlines.
