Less than 3 weeks after MundoFox terminated its contract with América CV and sued the company, the Miami-based network announced it will launch a new Spanish language station.
Just days after sending a vague press release saying the station would be called “Miami TeVe,” América CV changed the name to TEVEO and released the logo for the new channel.
TEVEO will have a soft launch on January 28 with 4 hours of primetime programming. There are no details yet on the type of programming and if it will canned or locally produced.
TEVEO will have the same distribution that MundoFox had before it moved its affiliateship to WGEN-8 (GenTV).
Viewers will be able to watch the new channel over the air on 41.1 and 48.2 and on cable: Comcast 82, Atlantic 3 and AT&T U-verse 41 in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale DMA.
