He started the new job yesterday. He’ll be on “Noticiero Telemundo Arizona” Monday to Friday at 5 and 10 pm, “Noticiero Telemundo Denver” at 5:30 and 10 pm, and “Noticiero Telemundo Las Vegas” at 6 and 11 pm.
Diego was most recently news anchor and producer for the 6 and 11 pm newscasts at Univision Las Vegas. He was previously news anchor and producer at Univision Costa Central in California, serving the Santa Barbara, Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo markets. Before that, he was a sports writer with Latin Sports Network (LSN) and a Business news anchor for KCSN 88.5 FM radio in Northridge, California.
In 2006, Diego participated on ESPN Deportes’ reality series, “Dream Job: El Reportero” and was selected as one of the six finalists of the national competition.
