Telemundo has been drip-dropping the names of the coaches and hosts of its upcoming show “La Voz Kids.” Today, the network announced that television host/model Daisy Fuentes will be the host of the singing competition slated to premiere in the spring.
Over the course of several days in the past week, Telemundo announced Paulina Rubio, Prince Royce and Roberto Tapia will be the show’s coaches.
For Daisy, this marks a return to Telemundo. She began her television career as a weather-girl at WNJU-47, Telemundo New York. She went on to become the first VJ to be signed to both MTV U.S. and MTV Latino. Daisy has also hosted “MTV’s House of Style,” “MTV Spring Break,” “Beach MTV” and launched MTV Latino, MTV’s first 24-hour Spanish Language network.
She went on to host “America’s Funniest Home Videos” for ABC, various Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants, “Countdown to the Latin Grammy’s,” “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” and hosted her own primetime talk show on CNBC.
