Shakira starts on NBC’s The Voice

Superstar Shakira has joined NBC’s “The Voice.”  The Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter will be a coach/judge for the show.

Shakira replaces Christina Aguilera, who left the show to focus on her singing career.

The new season of the show kicks off tonight at 8 pm.

“The Voice” is one of NBC’s most popular shows.  So it’s great to see that Latino talent is being promoted in a prime time slot.
