Telemundo Media has announced Regional Mexican music singer Roberto Tapia has been chosen as the third musician coach for the network’s upcoming singing competition “La Voz Kids.”
Last week, Telemundo revealed Paulina Rubio and Prince Royce as the first two music coaches. The show is slated to premiere in the spring.
Roberto Tapia is among the best-selling musicians in the country thanks to his album titled “El Muchacho,” which made it to #1 in the Billboard Hot Latin Albums and Regional Mexican Sales charts.
San Diego-born, Roberto is the producer and writer of all of his new musical material, including “Mirando al Cielo,” the first promotional single that has led him to the #1 position among the most played radio lists. Roberto has produced more than eight albums, starting with his self-titled debut CD in 2002.
Telemundo has yet to announce the names of the two “La Voz Kids” hosts.
