MundoFox announced that award-winning Latin recording artists Belinda and Chino & Nacho, and Mexican television and music icon Angélica María have been confirmed as the celebrity judges of “El Factor X.”
The new reality show for the recently launched network is slated to premiere for the first time in the U.S. this summer. This original Spanish-language version of the “X Factor” will feature young contestants from 8 to 15 years old and will give U.S. Latino viewers the opportunity to choose the next young Latino superstar or breakout music group.
The judges will travel to top cities in the U.S. searching for undiscovered talent – solo artists and vocal groups. Open auditions for the series will take place across the country starting on June 8 in Los Angeles before visiting New York City (June 22) and Miami (June 29).
“El Factor X” is a production by FremantleMedia Latin America for MundoFox.
