Esteban Creste returns to New York after a 10 year absence. He has been hired to take over as Univision WXTV-41’s news director, effective July 1.
For the past 3 years, Esteban has been Executive Producer/News Director for Fox Deportes, based out of Mexico City.
“After a very enriching life on the road, I’m going back home. I’m very happy,” he says.
Esteban previously spent over 17 years in different roles at Telemundo, starting out in New York, where he was a reporter, host and managing editor, before moving to Chicago.
In Chicago he held the role of VP of News of WSNS for 4 years, before taking the role of VP of News at KVEA-52/KWHY-22.
