Gabriel Sotelo is joining Telemundo’s Bay Area station as sports anchor for the station’s 6 and 11 pm newscasts. He’ll also anchor “Telemundo Deportivo Edición Gigantes.”
His first day on the air will be August 18.
Gabriel was most recently anchor for Univision’s morning show “Despierta San Diego.” While at Univision San Diego, he also worked as a reporter for “En Contacto Con Los Chargers,” a 30-minute program that provided behind-the-scenes coverage of the San Diego Chargers.
In 2010, Sotelo Gabriel was a Verizon correspondent for the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, and provided live coverage for Univision network.
