Carlos Espinosa has taken over a new role at WLTV Noticias 23. He is now Managing Editor of the Univision O&O in Miami.
Until just two weeks ago, he was Assignment Manager.
Carlos steps into a position that had been eliminated in 2008, when then Managing Editor Emilio Marrero was promoted to News Director. Emilio left the station in December of 2013, replaced by Daniel Morcate in May of this year.
Carlos has been WLTV’s Assignment Manager for almost 18 years. He was previously a Special Projects Producer for WFOR, the CBS O&O in Miami.
Congratulations, Carlitos! This is an exemplary man. We wish him more growth at Univision.
