He’ll be based in Washington, D.C. and report to Melissa Maxfield, Comcast’s SVP, Federal Government Affairs, and Joe Uva, Chairman, Hispanic Enterprises and Content, NBCUniversal.
In this new role, Gómez will work closely with the Comcast and NBCUniversal Government Affairs leadership to develop and implement government relations strategies to support Telemundo’s business priorities.
Gómez joins Telemundo from Walmart, where he was Director of Corporate Affairs Constituent Relations. Prior to Walmart, he was Director of Legislative Affairs & Strategic Partnerships at D&P Creative Strategies. Before that, he was VP of the Hispanic Lobbyists Association (HLA).
