Gilma Ávalos is starting a new job today as anchor and reporter at KTVT, the CBS O&O in Dallas.
She’ll be anchoring the CBS 11 News Saturday Morning from 8 to 9 am and CBS 11 News Sunday Morning from 7 to 8 am, alongside meteorologist Lisa Villegas.
Gilma was most recently a reporter for WTVJ Miami. She was previously an anchor/reporter for News 12 in the Bronx.
Lisa joined KTVT in September from KRGV Weslaco, TX, where she was the weekday morning and noon meteorologist.
Before that, she was the weekend morning and evening meteorologist at KLFY in Lafayette, LA.
