John-Carlos Estrada moves up 95 markets to a new job as evening news anchor and Managing Editor of ABC affiliate KTRE-TV in Lufkin, TX, effective Wednesday, October 22.
He’ll be anchoring the East Texas news at 6 and 10 pm CT.
Before joining KTRE-TV, he worked at KAVU-TV in Victoria, where he landed his first on-air job as the lead news anchor at 6 and 10 pm.
Prior to KAVU-TV, he was a segment producer for MSNBC’s “The Cycle” and NBC’s “Weekend Today” in New York City.
