More than 3 billion people will be using the internet next year and almost half the world will be connected by 2018, according to data provided by eMarketer.
The internet user forecast places China in first place with the most users and the U.S. coming in second, with Mexico settling into the 8th spot.
The increase in usage is attributed to mobile phones and access to mobile broadband connections.
