María Rozman has started a new job as Director of Hispanic Media for the Hispanic Access Foundation (HAF), a non-profit that provides a series of educational programs to improve civic engagement. Her first day was January 5.
In her new role, she’ll be responsible for strengthening HAF’s media relations, negotiating interviews, paid media buys, and directing media outreach for print, radio and television interviews.
Before accepting the new job, María was a planning producer for CNN en Español in Washington, D.C. from 2013 to 2015.
She was previously an anchor and news director for KDEN Telemundo Denver.
“After over 16 years working in news, I see this as a new challenge where I can unite my passion for helping our nation’s Hispanics with my experience and understanding of the media industry,” María tells Media Moves.
