The Colorado Broadcasters Association awarded Telemundo’s KDEN 16 awards of excellence, including “2014 Station of the Year” and Best Regularly Scheduled Newscast among Spanish-language television stations in the Denver Metro area.
KUSA-9, the NBC affiliate, won the same title among English-language TV stations.
News Anchor Guillermo Martinez, Sports Anchor Carlos Rausseo and Weather Anchor Javier Castro also won top honors during the CBA’s annual gala, which took place on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center in Denver.
