Nilda Rosario resigned as weekday weather anchor for WXTV’s “Noticias Univision 41” and has taken on a new job as weekend anchor for WNJU’s “Noticiero 47 Fin De Semana.”
She’ll join co-anchor Yaima Crespo for the 5:30 and 11 pm weekend newscasts and will also be a general assignment reporter for Noticiero 47 Telemundo on weekdays at 5:30 PM, 6 PM and 11 PM.
She’ll start on air at the end of the month.
Nilda spent the last 12 years at the Univision O&O in New York in multiple roles, including weekday weather anchor, weekend weather anchor and morning show traffic reporter.
She began her journalism career at Univision Radio WADO 1280 AM in 1996 and worked as a copywriter, production assistant, editor, news announcer and traffic reporter.
About time: another mistreated professional, from both former and current management teams, in the strange Univision 41’s world.

As we also wish Good Luck to 41, in getting another anchor with the caliber that Nilda has now taken into Telemundo 47.
Last time we checked up here, Univision NY has not enjoyed any luck with the new hirees.
Yep this is why I don’t watch Univision 41 they have mistreated pro’s and they have awful replacements.
