Espinoza promoted at KVEA

Daisy Espinoza moves up the ranks at KVEA-52, the Telemundo O&O in Los Angeles. She was promoted from News Producer to Executive Producer for the station’s morning show, effective Monday, April 6.

KVEA hired Daisy in 2013. She started as a news producer for the 11 pm newscast. In December of that year, she became lead producer for the newly reformatted two hour morning newscast, “Buenos Días Los Ángeles,” which airs weekdays from 5 to 7 am.

Before KVEA, she spent 10 years as a production assistant, reporter, host and newscast producer at KUVS Univision 19, helping the station earn their first NATAS/Norcal Emmy award for Best Evening Newscast in a large market.
