The Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) has awarded KMEX Univision 34 in Los Angeles an Edward R. Murrow Award for its 6 pm newscast.
KMEX is the only TV station in Los Angeles among the regional winners, and the only Spanish-language station nationwide to get a 2015 Murrow.
The prestigious Murrow awards honor outstanding achievements in electronic journalism.
All regional winners will advance to the national competition. National winners will be announced in June.
