The newscast averaged a 0.8 rating for Adults 18 to 34 and a 1.0 rating for Adults 18 to 49.
This is the first time in 25 years that Telemundo’s local newscast at 10 pm scores the number one spot in Phoenix and regardless of language in the two key demographic groups.
KTAZ also fared well at 6 pm with “Caso Cerrado Edicion Estelar.” According to Nielsen ratings provided by Telemundo, it was the most-watched Spanish-language station among Adults 18 to 49 and Adults 25 to 54 in that time slot, averaging a 0.7 rating among Adults 18 to 49 and a 0.8 rating among Adults 25 to 54.
