Telemundo is bringing another reality show to the network. For the first time in the U.S., viewers will get to see “Gran Hermano,” the Spanish-language version of the worldwide hit format.
The original series, slated for 2016, is being produced by Endemol Shine Latino, exclusively for Telemundo.
The 13 episodes will feature a U.S. Hispanic cast. “Gran Hermano” will start with 14 strangers living together with no connection to the outside world in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Contestants will vote each other out until the last remaining house guest wins a grand prize. The series will be paired with a 24-hour digital hub at Telemundo.com that will allow viewers to check in on the housemates whenever they choose and see events unfold in real time.
